A number of OrthTeam consultants have been lecturing on their specialist areas of expertise during the last month.

C Y Ng travelled to Shanghai for his presentation; C Y was teaching on a European Wrist Arthroscopy Society accredited course held at the HuaShan Hospital.

Adam Watts also travelled abroad to speak on elbow instability at the German Shoulder & Elbow Congress and to Madrid, where he spoke on distal humerus and coronoid fractures, at the International Advanced Course on Elbow Surgery.

Tim Clough and Mike Hayton have stayed closer to home and lectured in the UK. Tim spoke on ankle replacement surgery at an international Foot & Ankle symposium in London. His expertise in this area of surgery has been reflected through his election as Principal Investigator at Wrightington Hospital, for a multi-centre UK research trial evaluating the clinical outcome of ankle replacements.

Mike spoke at The Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby. The centre is a specialist hand centre within the Royal Derby Hospital that runs post-graduate courses for doctors, nurses and therapists.
